Rust Charts turns the public Rust server list into lines you can read at a glance.
The server browser tells you who is online right now. It says little about last Tuesday. So we keep the history instead: player counts over time, when each server wiped, and how it ranks against the rest. Every public Rust server is on the site, and every chart is redrawn every five minutes.
Two sources feed the charts. One is Steam's public server list, which carries names, player counts, queues and server tags. The other is each server itself, which we query directly for map seed, FPS and entity count. Some servers do not answer those direct queries. For those, the chart shows only what Steam publishes, and it says so by leaving the rest blank rather than filling it in with a guess.
Ranks come from the past week of player counts, hour by hour. A server that holds a crowd all week sits above one that spikes for an evening after a wipe. Position on our lists follows player count. Nobody can pay for a place.
Rust Charts is run by Rust players and has no connection to Facepunch Studios. Nothing on the site is endorsed by them. Server names, descriptions and images stay with the people who run those servers.
If a chart for your server looks wrong, the cause is usually in the server's own settings. Corrections reach us within about five minutes of the change. If it still looks off after that, email hello@rustcharts.space and tell us which server and which line.
